Getting ready for the US National Bonsai Exhibition!

The USNBE is in Rochester, NY on June 9-10.  I am proud to have this entry accepted for display in the show.  Enjoy!

Tree:    Japanese Maple, ‘shishio improved’ from nursery stock via Gary Wood, in training since 2002, 28″ tall
Pot:      Japanese Tokoname by Yamafusa, 17″x12″x2.75″
Stand:   Chinese Rosewood
Accent Plant:    Fern (will receive a haircut first…)

    • Thanks Owen! Bill also changed the spelling on the display to “chishio”, so you must be onto something! I’d be very interested to see another one as bonsai, have you seen any in Japan or the US?
