Nice sage brushes were everywhere. Wonder if they like living in pots? Some of these are ready to go!

Look at it now, with a spade for scale. At 15″, its just amazing!

High up on an outcropping, these craters looked like they could have been caused by meteorites, hitting at an angle and shoving the earth and rock up into a pile at the other end…? Sounds reasonable, no machines were getting up there.

We were fortunate to have good weather while we were out there. When we got back from dinner on the second day, we watched a very intense storm roll through.

They called it hail…what fell on the ground sure looked like snow to me.
