Merry Christmas!

Best to you and your families as we pause and remember the meaning of Christmas, Luke 2:10-11, And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

One of the forums had a thread about first trees. I found a few just for fun.
My first hawthorn was this 5- tree grove, 1994-1995:

My current Hawthorn, which won the ABS John Naka award last year:

My first bonsai, a juniper from my first bonsai class in 1994:

A recent juniper purchase…more on this one in a couple weeks!

  1. Very fun, those old bonsai pics! Actually that JBP wasn’t so bad at all. You certainly have come a long road. Cheers!!!

  2. Awesome! “A long (tough) rode (row) to hoe” became ” “A lot of trees to trim” to get to where you are. Good job, and happy “trees” in the New Year.

  3. Brian, Merry Christmas to you and you family too. It is really cool to see your trees over the past 20 years. You have come a long way, you have been Blessed with a true talent and most of all you a so willing to share with others.
