Going to California, part 1

It’s always interesting to meet people you’ve interacted with online. Recently, I was in Southern California with half a day on my hands and decided to contact Greg Peterson, owner of the BonsaiNut forum and see if wanted a visitor, on a very short notice. While I didn’t take photos of his collection, he was kind enough to give the tour, and then we went on an adventure.

The Huntington Gardens is in San Merino California, just Northeast of L.A.. It has an impressive collection of gardens, libraries, and Bonsai. Over the next few weeks, I will share photos from the adventure, starting with the trees. Many thanks to Greg for spending the better part is a day with me, I had a great time.
